Indian police fired warning shots and tear gas shells to disperse hundreds of Kashmiri protesters who had blocked road to Srinagar airport and shouting anti-India slogans after the body of a college student with his throat slit was found in the Indian-controlled Kashmir. The protesters accused the Indian army of torturing and killing the student. However, the army denied the allegation.
